A symbol of hope and unity, the Starlight Beacon was constructed by the Republic, a space station at the edge of the Outer Rim dedicated to helping unify frontier and core worlds. But soon after it was put into service, the Nihil attacked Starlight, infiltrating the station and setting off a series of explosions that detroyed the beacon over Eiram.
