Ebe Endocott was a daring Podracer pilot during the Boonta Eve race that saw the liberation of young slave boy Anakin Skywalker. The cream-furred Ebe is a rotund humanoid of small stature. His round, white and blue-fleshed face was framed by two large upward-curving fur-covered flaps.

From the Expanded Universe

Ebe Endocott is almost as good as he thinks he is, having won the semi-pro Podracing tournaments on Malastare three times, conquering the very fast and very dangerous courses of that misty planet. Endocott pumped most of his endless competitive drive into fantasies of someday unseating Sebulba as the media darling champion of Malastare.

He spent his winnings on a new Corellian freighter designed to carry him and his Dash-8 rig to races in style. Endocott believed Sebulba to be a blowhard who's winning days were over. The Boonta Eve Classic proved him right. Though Ebe didn't win -- he finished fourth -- the Triffian took consolation in that he bested the Dug who failed to finish at all.

Behind the Scenes

Concept Artist Terryl Whitlatch designed Endocott with a large face-framing frill, which helpes Ebe dissipate excess heat when unfurled.
