Confident and skilled in the cockpit of a New Republic X-wing fighter, Kaz's new assignment as a spy for the Resistance leaves him feeling out of his element. Now living on the independent fueling station known as the Colossus, Kaz is doing his best to fit in as a mechanic so he can carry out his mission.

One of the Aces that flies defense for the Colossus platform, Griff Halloran flies an extensively modified TIE-based racer that emphasizes raw power. No one is quite certain whether or not Griff is a veteran of the Imperial Navy, or whether he just flies old Imperial colors to intimidate his opponents.

Vast webbed wings and a smooth gilled body make the docile krakavora adept at traveling underwater and through the air, the preferred mode of transport among the natives. But a fearsome beast with a hearty appetite, the krakavora will also make quick work of digesting any threatening creature that breaches the planet's defenses.

The proud aquatic warriors of Aeos protect their home with vibro-blade spears, harnessing the power of the native krakavora as transportation. Once welcoming to a tribe of Rebel Alliance fighters, after an attack by the First Order they seek revenge on those who intruded on their home.

After scouring the Outer Rim territories, the Colossus finds a new home on the planet Aeos Prime. But among the shimmering caverns and outcroppings are remnants of another society and a deadly visit from the First Order.

After the rise of the First Order, troopers from the new regime ensure that old Rebel Alliance bases and outposts would be of no use to the Resistance fighters.
