Since her appearance in Timothy Zahn's Heir to the Empire novel, Mara Jade has become one of the fans' favorite characters in the expanded Star Wars universe. She has appeared in numerous novels and comics (including her marriage to Luke Skywalker in the upcoming Union comic series), but is now being portrayed for the first time in "live action". Mara will appear on her own Star Wars: Collectible Card Game card from Decipher in the near future, but the Star Wars Insider will bring you those images first along with an interview about her rise to popularity by her creator Timothy Zahn.
Star Wars Insider #47 is scheduled to be available in late December .
