[ Star Wars RÉUNION II Program ] The guests of Star Wars Réunion II

The Fan Club is currently in talks with several personalities from the Star Wars universe. In the meantime, it can confirm the following initial guest list:

Roger Carel -- Actor
Roger Carel, the French voice of C-3PO, was particularly touched by the warm welcome he was given by the French fans who attended the first official convention. He is delighted to return this year, to meet with the fans, to talk about his Star Wars experience, and celebrate the 30th anniversary onstage at the Grand Rex.

Robert Watts -- Producer
Robert Watts was involved in production roles on Star Wars Episodes IV, V, and VI, as well as on the first three Indiana Jones movies. Having taken an active part in the genesis of two of the most successful film sagas of all time, Watts will have plenty of stories and anecdotes to share with the audience.

Steve Sansweet -- Author
Steve Sansweet, whom Lucasfilm Magazine readers have become familiar with, is not only the world's greatest Star Wars memorabilia collector, but also a prolific author. He will be attending to sign his latest book, to be published in France by Nathan, Star Wars le Livre-Culte (to be published in the U.S. as The Star Wars Vault). Sansweet, Lucasfilm's Director of Content Management and Head of Fan Relations, will also discuss the company's future projects.

Doug Wheatley -- Artist
A long-time fan of the original trilogy, artist Doug Wheatley was not only fortunate to adapt Episode III into a graphic novel format, but he also lent his talent to many titles published by Delcourt in France (and Dark Horse in the U.S.), such as Star Wars Clone Wars Volume 10, X-Wing Rogue Squadron part 2 and the eagerly awaited Dark Times. Wheatley will be attending Star Wars Réunion II to meet his fans and to sign his books.

Star Wars Réunion II Events and Activities

[ Star Wars RÉUNION II Program ] The French 501st Legion and the Rebel Legion will be joining forces in organizing several events within the convention.

In October, the French Garrison of the 501st will celebrate a double anniversary: 30 years of Star Wars and its own five years of existence! In order to mark the event, an embroidered logo has been selected after a competition in which 10 members of the 501st and the Rebel Legion submitted their designs. The winning design, representing troopers hoisting their country's colors, is a symbol of the unity of their groups. The 501st and the Rebel Legion will give away these embroidered patches which is normally an exclusive membership privilege for both groups, to the winners of the various games that will take place during Star Wars Réunion II. Both groups will also have exclusively-made, convention-themed items to offer to the various game winners

Stormtrooper Academy
Members of the 501st will host a contest for children, who will receive a diploma for competing.

Droid Hunt
Children and adults alike will have to search for specific costumed characters and answer a series of questions. The competition will be timed, and winners will receive gifts and prizes from the 501st and the Rebel Legion, such as embroidered patches and other surprises.

Jedi Academy
Jedi Masters of the Rebel Legion will train the young Padawans attending the convention in the art of lightsaber fighting. Padawans will be rewarded with a diploma.

Star Wars Party Makeup
All those attending the party without a costume will have a fun, easy way to blend into the exotic looking crowd of attendees: Thanks to a talented team from ITM, the professional and Artistic make up school of Paris, fans both young and old will be made-up to look like their favorite characters.

Star Wars Miniatures Demo
A team from Wizards of The Coast will help fans get acquainted with the rules and tricks of the Star Wars Miniatures game.
